The weather lately has been cold and miserable so I've been taking most of my pictures these days indoors. I bribed my youngest to let me take some shots of him by telling him if he did so he could skip his afternoon nap! Bad Mommy, I know - but I think the pictures I got of him were worth it.

What a Difference a Few Days Make
A few days ago I took my son out for a walk through our woods. The weather was gorgeous. It was one of those days you just don't want to spend indoors.
That was then. This is now...
WOW!! What a difference! I think fall is officially over for us. I think I'll go curl up in front of the fire with a good book.

Good Sport
I always have a hard time finding subjects to practice my photography skills on. It seems that whenever I pull out my camera my family all head for the hills. Even the dog and the cats seem to be tiring of the never ending click of the shutter as I strive to capture the perfect pose. Every once and a while, however, one of my family members will indulge me. Most often it is my daughter. She has, in the past, agreed to stand in a thistle patch, splash at the beach in freezing weather, and lay in the mud all to get that perfect shot. All things considered I'd say she's a pretty darn good sport.

Fall
I love this time of the year. The air is crisp, the leaves are changing colour and it is usually still warm enough to go out without putting on a coat. We had a gorgeous sunny day yesterday and I thought I would take the opportunity to get some shots of my youngest while there were still leaves on the trees. As usual his idea of posing and mine were not quite the same.
